- My audience is diverse with different time zones, and sometimes even different weekends (some countries consider Friday and Saturday weekend days). My experience is that people are most engaged when I post first thing in the morning, my time. However, posting on Sundays or Tuesdays would be the best.
What to Avoid. Taher also offers some tips on what does not work.
- “Definitely try to imitate someone else. Taher stated, “Don’t try and imitate other peoples’ style.”
Taher shared that she learned a lot from following other SEO professionals on LinkedIn and connecting to them. You can still learn from other people without copying their work.
Determining success. Your goals will determine your success. How does Tahker define success for her LinkedIn post
- “Success” for me means that I get engagement on a blog post. Positive feedback from my followers is also a sign of success.
A final piece of advice. This is the last piece of advice that we need to hear from others in our space:
- “Posting and being a public figure within the SEO community is a responsibility. People will follow your advice.” Don’t post anything that you aren’t 100% certain of.
